Empowering Progress: Endo’s Rochester Expansion Facility
Endo unveiled a transformative expansion of inspection, packaging, and warehouse capabilities at our Rochester, Michigan facility in 2024. The 90,000-square-foot addition enhances our manufacturing operations and underscores our commitment to providing access to essential medications.
This progress is the of the first milestone of a cooperative agreement with the U.S. government to increase critical medicine production capabilities to support national defense efforts and advance pandemic preparation.

Century of Critical Medicine Production
Endo’s Rochester site has a history of manufacturing life-saving products. The ongoing innovation at the facility has brought medicines for tetanus, gangrene, diphtheria, rabies, smallpox, and polio to the people who need them.
More than 100 years of contributions have helped to shape a reputation of unwavering determination and service. The new inspection, packaging, and warehouse space will continue to build on this legacy.
Future National Preparedness
The inspection, packaging, and warehouse addition in Rochester is the first of several milestones that are part of the U.S. government partnership. Ongoing construction, and qualification of a new high-containment suite will further advance our sterile manufacturing capabilities when it’s production-ready in 2025.
Ours was the first contract awarded in the U.S. Department of Defense’s concerted effort to reinforce domestic essential medicine production. Influenced by lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic, the initiative aims to secure and strengthen the U.S. supply chain for critical medicines as a proactive step in future pandemic preparedness.
