Medical Education, Patient Education and Clinical Support

Endo is committed to providing support for medical education and clinical training to help advance improvements in patient care through our non-promotional grant program.  Educational grants are awarded for a specific independent scientific or educational activity designed to educate healthcare professionals, and/or patients in Endo’s areas of therapeutic interest.

All grant requests are submitted for review and approvals by Endo’s Educational Grant Review Committee, comprised of personnel from Medical Affairs and Legal, and are assessed for educational and scientific merit, audience scope, compliance with legal, ethical and professional obligations, as well as fiscal responsibility.

Investigator Sponsored Research Requests

Endo is committed to provide support for independent investigator sponsored research that might advance improvements in clinical care, generate medical and scientific knowledge about our products and lead to promising medical interventions.  A request for an Investigator Sponsored Research support may be made by any researcher interested in conducting their own independent clinical study.  Support for such studies may be made with a grant of pure substance (for preclinical studies), by providing Endo product at no cost to the investigator, and/or by providing a grant of financial support.

Types of research eligible for support are clinical studies of approved and unapproved uses involving approved Endo products, observational studies and certain outcomes research where the primary focus is the scientific understanding of the disease.

Other independent research on disease states which include diagnostic or screening tools, surveys or other patient management tools may also be considered.

All requests for support are submitted for review and approvals by Endo’s Investigator Sponsored Research Review Committee and are assessed on the basis of the scientific and clinical merits of the research proposal, fair market value, the qualifications of the investigator and compliance with recognized scientific and ethical standards, as well as applicable laws and regulations.

If you are interested in discussing your research questions or ideas, please contact your Endo R&D Field Representative. If you do not know who to contact, please email us at ISRR@endo.com with your area of interest and we will provide you with a contact.
